Privacy policy
This policy explains the information BuildOnAuto may collect when you visit the site, subscribe to a resource, request a paid service or contact us.
Information you provide
We may receive your name, email address and message when you submit a form. We use that information to deliver the requested resource, respond to you and operate relevant email sequences. Do not submit sensitive personal or financial information through site forms.
Analytics and technical data
We use privacy-minimized first-party analytics and may use Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions. This can include pages viewed, a random browser identifier, device category, referral source, campaign parameters and link interactions. The first-party identifier does not contain your name or email address. If you subscribe, earlier activity from that identifier may be associated with your subscriber profile so we can send more relevant content. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, keystrokes or cross-site browsing history.
Popups and interest profiles
We may display a resource offer based on the page you are reading, its topic, whether you are returning and whether you previously dismissed or completed an offer. We store dismissal and conversion choices in your browser to avoid repeatedly showing the same popup. If you subscribe, we may infer broad content interests such as GoHighLevel, CRM, automation, agency or contractor topics from pages viewed, resources requested and links clicked.
Paid-service requests
When you request a consultation or assisted setup, we collect the contact, business, current-tool, objective, budget-range and scheduling information you submit. We use it to evaluate fit, communicate about the request, deliver an agreed service, prevent abuse and maintain business records. A service request does not subscribe you to marketing unless you separately select the optional marketing checkbox.
Digital-product purchases and customer portal
Lemon Squeezy processes eligible digital-product checkout as merchant of record and sends BuildOnAuto signed order events containing details such as customer name, email, order identifier, product, amount, currency, tax, refund state and test/live mode. BuildOnAuto stores the minimum order and entitlement data needed to deliver files, issue secure portal links, apply download limits, provide support, prevent fraud and maintain transaction records. Payment card details are not stored in the BuildOnAuto Marketing OS.
The private customer portal uses a secure, single-use email link. We record product downloads, a privacy-preserving IP hash and limited browser information for access security and support. Transactional purchase and access emails are separate from optional marketing subscriptions.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you follow a link to HighLevel or another provider, that provider handles information under its own privacy policy. Affiliate parameters can identify BuildOnAuto as the referring publisher.
Email choices
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and a preference-management link. Unsubscribing suppresses future marketing immediately. We retain a minimal suppression record so the address is not accidentally re-added. You may also request help by emailing hello@buildonauto.com.
Retention and security
Anonymous visitor and event data is normally removed after 13 months. Consent, suppression and campaign records may be retained longer when needed to demonstrate compliance, honor your choices, secure the service or meet legal obligations. Marketing information is stored in a private BuildOnAuto operations system with authenticated access, encrypted mailbox credentials, secure sessions and audit logging. No internet system is completely secure.
